I wanted to bless my son and his family from Michigan with a horseback riding experience. I have two grandsons(2&10). The staff there were so welcoming,friendly and helpful. My granddaughter has become an amazing rider and is now going to be involved in barrel racing competition shout out to Ro and ALL the excellent professional teachers who take pride in teaching each and every client. She has grown not only in horse riding but in all the responsibilities that comes with it and the confidence she has obtained is priceless. The staff is committed to all who come here and to all the animals. Can't thank them enough for my granddaughters growth!! Great experience for grandkids at Autumn’s Gate. Ms Ro is the bomb. She helped our grandson overcome his fear of riding and helped our granddaughter to really do well with only two lessons. Will be back
My review is long overdue! My littles have been coming here for the last two years! They always look forward to their horseback riding adventure day! They have so much fun and it is awesome seeing them learn and do more and more with each time we come! Ms Ro is absolutely amazing we love love love her! The kids ask and talk about her at home quite often. Ms Ro has instilled a ton of confidence in them and makes it a great experience overall!

I took my out of town nephew riding as a gift for his 10th birthday. He has never been riding before and really wanted to go. I thought I booked a trail rising session, but it turned out to be in a pen. That was ultimately better for us because neither had any experience and that gave the instructor, Ro, and her assistants a better opportunity to teach us about the horses and how to ride in a more controlled environment. They were extremely kind and patient and my nephew had the time of his life. He's been talking about it nonstop and already asked if we could do it again for his birthday next year. It was a wonderful experience. The only advice I'd give is to make sure you confirm if it's a trail ride or inside a pen.
Went for the first time, the kids had so much fun, and they got a lot of riding in, and we couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Ro was amazing and so nice!

Hands down one of the greatest experiences of my life so far❤️❤️ I hadn’t rode a horse in 20 yrs & Ro guided me perfectly to get into the comfort zone of riding again. The horses are well kept & taken care of. Whether you have never ridden or maybe have a child with special needs this is definitely a place to experience . If you have a love for animals like me there’s no doubt in my mind that you will come back for more great memories there.. Thanks again Ro for being the amazing person that you are❤️

As an adult just looking to get into riding for fun it was perfect! Trainer Ro was friendly, helpful, and patient. Great experience! Definitely going back and would recommend others as well.

Ro was absolutely amazing. She provided us with tips throughout our ride which enhanced the experience. I will definitely come back the next time we visit Niagara. If you are looking for a great horseback riding experience/lessons (also provided for handicapped children), Autumn's Gate is the place to go.
Miss Ro is fantastic! My sister receives lessons from her weekly. While visiting my sister last week, I had the pleasure of joining her for an adventurous trail ride led by Miss Ro. I, too, lesson weekly at a barn near my home. Miss Ro is knowledgeable, caring, and full of life! She is always having fun and ensuring her students are doing the same! I can’t wait for the next time I have the opportunity to ride with her! 🥰
Ro and Julia were absolutely excellent! Great for all levels. My 87 year old grandmother was able to ride with confidence thanks to how accommodating and trained the staff was. Would recommend to anyone of all levels!
Kim and our family celebrated her 10th birthday on the farm. For many children ,it was a first time riding experience. The staff was amazing and interacted with the children well. They were also kind to our family members as they moved about the farm . My father who originally started the arrangements was even mentioned, though he recently passed away. Thank you for making us feel at home.
We LOVED coming to Autumn’s Gate. At first we weren’t sure about the place, but by the start of the lesson with Ro, we were blown away. Her method of teaching is straight to the point and out of the box all at once. My daughter has had riding lessons, but none like the one with Rochelle. We will be coming back very soon. ❤️
Had an amazing day at Autumn gate today, took my daughter for the first time , and absolutely had a wonderful time! And the environment is such a good vibe! And good people!! Ro her instructor was a blast, and had an amazing time with her ! Will definitely make this an every week event, and recommend anyone trying to get up on a horse this is the place!! 100000%%%

My kids had an amazing day at Autumns Gate! This was their first time riding a horse and they were so proud of their accomplishment. They got to pet other animals, hold bunnies and guinea pigs, play games, have a bonfire, crafts and more. They came home completely filthy, happy and full of stories! It will definitely be an experience that stays with them for a long time! Haley was so helpful and kind! I would definitely send my kids back to Autumns Gate again!!
I went there for the first time a few weeks ago and worked with the instructor Roe. She was AMAZING. she was so knowledgeable about riding. She also makes you feel so comfortable. Had a great time and would highly recommended her to anyone !
My husband surprised me with a horseback riding experience at Autumn’s Gate today; it was our first time there and we absolutely loved our adventure together. We had the privilege of Ro being our instructor and she was absolutely delightful, insightful, informative and just a true joy to be around. She most definitely knows her stuff, she rode Elsa (I may have spelled that wrong) and we got to see her skills in action as Elsa was quite stubborn hahahaha. If you’ve never gone before or never even rode a horse i encourage you to go and request Ro as your instructor. I most certainly will be back and can’t wait to do so. I had a horseback riding lesson for the first time yesterday and I absolutely loved it. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I definitely had a wonderful experience and will be returning!
The owners and staff are great. My daughter is enjoying the chicken & pony clubs, and she can't wait for spring camp. Great place for the whole family. Go for a tour check out all the animals. They also do birthday parties .
My daughter had her first lesson with Miss Ro today. She had an amazing time and cannot wait to go back. She felt welcome right away and was extremely comfortable. So glad we found Autumn's Gate!!

I went there for my buddies daughters birthday party, and it was an awesome experience. So many cool and unique animals. All the instructors were intelligent and kind. Would highly recommend this to anyone who asks.
Such an amazing place to take the family, everyone is extremely patient with your children. The horses are all well behaved and so kind to the kids. Really a beautiful and special place.
We started taking lessons here a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier. Miss Ro is so welcoming and wonderful with the kids. Having two kiddo's who are at very different levels of riding, Miss Ro does such a fantastic job letting our more confident rider spread her wings while offering her support and assurance to our more timid rider all at the same time. We HIGHLY recommend Miss Ro and Autumn's Gate! 💜
2nd time riding, 4pm class. Ro is an amazing instructor. Very patient. There were 4 people who were supposed to be there at 2 but showed up 2 hrs late. Ro added them to our class seemlessly and still made time for each rider.

My daughter has had 2 lessons with Ms. Roe. She has taught her so much in that short period of time. My daughter loves that she pushes her to get out of her comfort zone at the same time listens to her concerns and directs her on exactly how to do it. Ms. Roe always makes sure that my daughter is ok and ready to try stuff but if she doesn't want to Ms. Roe doesn't push to much.
Miss. Ro did a wonderful job! Very helpful, was a great teacher, and a pleasant person! The animals are all well taken care of!
It was our first time trying something like this and it was a great experience. The teachers are friendly and knowledgeable and my 7 year old daughter was riding and having fun on her very first lesson. They offer affordable package deals for riding
We just started going to Autumn’s Gate because my daughter needed somewhere with an indoor arena for the winter. We love it there! Everyone is so friendly and easy going. She gets to ride multiple horses and is able to practice her barrel runs. Ms Ro is a great instructor and seems to love what she does! Highly recommend!!!!
My daughters' have been taking riding lessons weekly at Autumn's Gate since September. They love going each week. Through their lessons they have developed a love for the sport but also have built confidence in themselves. Miss Ro is an amazing instructor. We appreciate her time and dedication! Yesterday we had their birthday party there as well. It was a wonderful experience and they had a great time showing their friends their favorite place.
This is an amazing place! The riding lessons are extremely reasonable, the Halloween party is outta this world, and Jimmy, Hailey and the whole crew are wonderful. It's a magical experience for kids.
Loved our experience. Went with my husband on our honey moon. Got to run and Trot. Very patient and helpful. We were already experienced to a degree so we got to go faster. We got to chit chat a lot with her and her daughter and it was a great experience. They have tons of horses all of which are kind and beautiful. They have the cutest mini donkey too
