Started riding at Autumns Gate with Ro as our trainer. I have rode before at other places but was never taught what to do. Ro teaches you how to handle the horse and explains what and why I should do what she is teaching me on my horse. She is an excellent trainer and makes it fun. I am so happy to have her to guide me in learning the correct way to ride and not just following along like with other places I have rode. I look forward to riding every week and I love grooming and bonding with my horse Sketch. If you want to learn how to ride ask for Miss Ro you will love the experience.

Scheduled a trail ride at the last minute, just the day before, but was able to be squeezed in and we had a wonderful time. It was my wife's first time even seeing a horse so we really appreciated starting off with grooming and getting comfortable really enhanced the experience.

What an amazing experience!!! This was my first time riding a horse and the second for my husband. The customer service provided by the entire crew and some of their students was top notch. Ro and Mr. Davin were our guides on the trail as well as educating us on the care and tips for riding. They didn't have control of the weather, of course, but it was the most beautiful fall day to ride. I could not be happier with my first riding experience. Thank you, Autumn's Gate. We will be back!!

I had the absolute best experience at Autumn’s Gate for our couples ride. Ro and Davin were both amazing from start to finish.

Ro was so helpful and took the time to truly teach us how to feel comfortable around the horses and how to make the horses comfortable with us. Instead of just throwing us out on the trails without knowing anything, she made sure we actually understood what we were doing first, which made such a huge difference. She answered every question we had and shared great insight into the history of horses, where she got hers from, how long she’s had them, and the training they’ve gone through. You can tell how well-trained and loved they are. We got to trot, they listened so well, and we really built a connection with them. Any little bit of fear or nervousness we had completely went away just by talking with Ro and Davin.

Ro was also super accommodating so that my fiancé and I could ride together. At the end of our ride, after everyone else left, she let us try different tricks on the horses, like around the world, and she even took the time to show us her other horses that we didn't get to see on the trail. She really wanted my fiancé and me to have that extra time with the horses just to ourselves, and I loved that so much.

Davin was also so sweet and awesome. He might be younger, but he is incredibly knowledgeable, so comfortable around the horses, taught us different things, and even led us on the trail.

Everyone working there was super friendly and genuinely wanted us to have a great time. Ro talked with us the entire time, told us all about the different riding packages, and made us feel so welcome. The two hours flew by so fast that we honestly could have kept going. It was worth every penny just for the education and connection you get before even heading out. My fiancé and I made such a great connection with Ro, and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much Ro and Davin!

Our experience at Autumn’s Gate was nothing short of amazing! My nieces and I attended their open house this past weekend on 10/24, and from the moment we walked in, Director Haley and her team welcomed us with open arms.

I brought my 4-year-old niece and my 6-year-old niece, who is autistic, Level 3, and nonverbal. During our visit, we were given a tour of the farm, and both girls had the opportunity to sit on the ponies and help groom them. They had such a wonderful experience.

If you have a child with additional support needs, you understand that visiting a new place filled with activities, excitement, and unfamiliar surroundings can sometimes come with its own set of challenges. My 6-year-old niece was taking everything in, full of curiosity and excitement, and Haley and her team were absolutely wonderful in meeting her where she was. They were patient, attentive, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating of her needs and personality. As someone who wants the very best for her niece, seeing her welcomed and included so naturally meant more than I can put into words.

What stood out most was that the kindness didn't feel forced or performative. Haley and her team made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and excited about what is to come. Communication has also been wonderful as we prepare to begin lessons in the coming weeks.

I cannot recommend Autumn’s Gate enough, especially to families looking for an environment where their children can feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to explore new experiences. We are so excited to begin this next chapter with them, and I am incredibly grateful to have found a place that has already made such a positive impression on our family.

My family and I had an exceptional time here! The staff is very knowledgeable and are willing to teach you all about the horses. Their love for this farm radiates through their work. A welcoming atmosphere is always a plus, you have free reigns to explore the farm grounds and visit the other animals they have on site. The owner rides the trails along side you for safety and to teach you how to be a great rider. She was a lot of fun and very interactive. I appreciate that. I highly recommend this family friendly farm for a good time! Thank You!!

Our trail ride was absolutely wonderful! Throughout the adventure, everyone was super friendly and we really felt like family. Miss Ro, Miss K, Adam, and Davin showed us how to brush the horses and how to tack them, then did some basic training in the indoor ring to get us all up to speed on how to make sure the horse knew what we wanted.

Once we were all mounted up and able to steer our horses, we headed out onto the trails. Davin was an great trail guide, leading our little group through the picturesque trails, along with Miss K who walked with us and scouted out the mud patches. Miss Ro accompanied us and made sure all our horses were well behaved.

The trails were beautiful, the weather spectacular, and the experience unforgettable. A+ experience. We will be back.

It was my first time ever riding. I was referred that Ro is the best around and that is exceptionally true. Ro answered all my questions and assisted with every task. I got to ride Apollo which was a great horse! This was my first but definitely not my last time attending. If you have any thought about trying out this class I wouldn’t hesitate!

My husband surprised me with one of my dreams of riding a horse and he chose Autumn’s Gate. What an exhilarating experience! We went out on the premium trail ride with Ro, her team, and another couple. Ro is witty, knowledgeable, and very quickly gives you the confidence to make the most of your experience. As nervous as I was, she perfectly matched me up with my horse and I felt more comfortable as we went along the trail…like I had gone riding before! This past weekend my family and I took a family day and did horseback riding at autumn’s gate. It was nothing short of amazing. The instructor was so good at making my littles feels so comfortable getting on a horse (it was their first time). They didn’t make one peep the entire ride, they just loved it so much. We can’t wait to go back and see what else they have to offer. It was a very wholesome experience and I recommend to anyone to check them out.

Me and my girlfriend came here to do the 90 minute trail ride. It was an absolute amazing experience thanks to the instructor Ro, and will definitely be coming back. It was our first time horse back riding, and if couldn’t have went better. The instructor and everyone there with the farm was awesome. They were super helpful & relaxed. The atmosphere was perfect. My recommendation to anyone for a nice trail ride and bonding with a horse this is the place to go.

Took a premium trail ride late this afternoon. Spent time getting to know my horse, Sketch, before heading out on the trail. Trail ride was awesome - adventurous and relaxing all at the same time! Staff was friendly and super helpful! Will return for more riding and, hopefully, some lessons!

Autums gate is an amazing family owned farm that my daughter has been going to for years now! Their summer camp is her favorite! They do everything from riding and grooming the horses, to swimming in the pond, all kinds of crafts and games! If your kiddo likes being outside and around animals I recommend you check out AG! They offer so much more too, lessons and training, trail riding you name it! All of the staff and the owners are so incredibly knowledgeable and friendly! We wouldn’t go anywhere else 🥰

We’ve had such a good experience at Autumns Gate. We do the Toddler and Me classes and flex rides, and my little one always has a great time. Ms. Ro is amazing. She’s patient with the kids and the adults, and never makes anyone feel bad for needing a little extra help or asking questions. She makes sure everyone feels included and comfortable, no matter their experience level. We’re really glad we found this place!

I personally like how the staff doesn’t baby the kids no matter what the age. They talked to my now 4 year old like an adult giving her instructions and teaching her. My daughter just started riding a couple of months ago and absolutely loves the lessons! She asks to go to the barn every day. Her teacher is Ro, and she does an excellent job keeping the kids and horses safe while also allowing everyone to try new skills. My daughter really thrives on a challenge, and Ro provides space for to do more with "her" horse while still keeping control of the group. She also instills values of caring for the horses and being responsible and accountable. As a mom I am very pleased with this balance. Thank you Ro!

Yesterday my daughter for the first time in 4 months had a great time and in one day her confidence was back. I’d like to thank Miss Ro for really going out of her way to show my daughter on what it means to ride a horse. Miss Ro is very professional and goes into details about the basics on horse riding. Miss Ro will take her time and go over every step slowly to make sure the child or adult understands the basic steps before getting on the horses. Miss Ro really cares about the horses and there well being . I’m Miss Ro is back and that’s why we stay there. I highly recommend Miss Ro to anyone who is iffy or scared to ride. Miss Ro is by far the best instructor and Miss Ro loves a good challenge and she will meet that challenge.. if you have Miss Roe as a instructor you won’t be disappointed.

My instructor today was Ro, she was incredible! She was great at explaining things and if I wasn't getting it she was great at putting it in a way that made total sense to me. She took time to not only explain things thoroughly but showed me exactly how to do it and even went as far as to get on the horse so I really could see how something was suppose to be done, which was extremely helpful. After the lesson was over she took the time to answer any questions I had and even pointed things out directly on the horse so I knew how thing effected them and worked with me to build a bond with my horse. She was very friendly, pushed when needed, built confidence when there was none, slowed things down if nerves started and took so much time to truly give me an amazing lesson! I am very thankful for her expertises, I truly got so much out of my time with her! Highly recommend!

Always a great experience here. I continue to recommend to all family and friends. Miss Ro is a great instructor and amazing at building confidence with even the youngest kids. You will be amazed at what your kids can accomplish in just their first lesson. I've ended up purchasing toddler and me, riding lessons and couples riding as gifts. My son went to summer camp last year and absolutely loved it. My daughter will be joining him this year. This is the type of summer camp we went to in the 90s and exactly the type of experience I want my kids to have. I feel really good about leaving my kids in their hands.

What an absolutely amazing place! My mother in law had come here before to ride horses and we brought my two kids to check it out (ages 1 and almost 3). Beautiful place and such friendly staff. We loved the animals outside and in the barn! They even let my daughter get on a horse and ride for the first time. Such fantastic hospitality and we will definitely be coming back!

The place is amazing very welcoming for any type of rider whether it’s your first time riding or your 70th Ro the trainer always keeps it fun and enjoyable! The trail rides are great and so peaceful. The workers at Autumns gate are so friendly and I look forward to coming every week it’s the highlight of my week. My favorite horse is Sketch he makes my day every time I’m there. We went to a Halloween event at Autumn’s Gate and it was so cute and very well done. They had games for the kids, a light refreshment area, and the trick-or-treat trail was phenomenal! There was so much effort put into the trail, with decorations everywhere, music throughout, clear and easy paths to follow, and spectacular scenes with house facades throughout the woods where the kids could knock on doors and say ‘trick or treat’ to be greeted by a friendly witch or even a Bills Mafia Sasquatch (my favorite!). I also loved how they didn’t just give out candy. One stop had apples; another had little ‘critters’. It ended at a ‘Witches Brew’ that mimicked a great hall in a haunted mansion where we had cookies and cider. It was just so well done. We can’t wait to go back again next year!

My daughter and I had the absolute best time at Autumn's Gate! The horses are well taken care of and they are absolutely beautiful, there were smaller animals there as well that we were able to pet. When you go ask for the instructor Rechelle, she is simply amazing. She's very informative and knowledgeable and more importantly she treated my daughter and I like family. Thanks Ro you're the best! We have been going to Autumns Gate for several months! Ro has been an amazing teacher! I’ve seen my daughter’s confidence grow!!
Today we brought our two nieces who were extremely nervous. Ro had them riding with confidence in 5 minutes. Everyone was beaming the entire time!

This place is ABSOLUTELY incredible!!! My son has been taking lessons here for the past year and a half and his confidence has grown immensely. There is so much to offer for all ages. He is obsessed with chicken club as well as all the animals on this farm. He has become extremely close with Miss Ro during his lessons as she has taught him so much and has helped him through the challenges that come with riding a horse. She is AMAZING!!!! Thank you to all the wonderful staff who have made this place one of a kind. It is our favorite place to go to!!

My daughter has been asking to ride a horse for awhile now. Today, she had her first lesson, and it was a great experience. She is 7 and can get very overexcited and be difficult, but Ro was very good at getting her to focus when it was important and keeping it fun! She was also kind enough to show my daughter the petting zoo area even though it was late.

Not only was my daughter welcomed with open arms, I was as well and got on a horse. Ro is amazing!! We just took our 3 year old daughter to the toddler and me class and it was amazing! My daughter tends to be very shy and clams up in group settings, but the staff was so good with her and she was laughing and smiling the whole time! We will absolutely be regulars at Autumn's gate!

This place was so fun. My husband and I used to ride over in Mendon but hadn't found a place here since we had moved. This is definitely our new place. Even though we have ridden quite often we took a friend who hadn't been in 20 years. They can accommodate people of all skill levels. The horses were great and the staff made it so fun. Ro was our trail guide and she was not only extremely knowledgeable but very sweet, she really made it a great experience. The fields are beautiful and it was such a relaxing ride. Can't wait to go back

We did a family group ride for my 3 and 5 year olds when we were up in the Niagara area and Ro and the whole team were fantastic! We had a wonderful time, they were incredibly easy to work with, and it was the highlight of our trip. And, as a huge bonus for me, Ro took photos and videos for us so I didn’t even need to try (which is a good thing since I’m not an experienced rider). It was perfect and I could not recommend it more highly! The farm was beautiful; the horses were all lovely and named after Disney characters which my girls loved. Without a doubt if we lived in the area we would go to camp there and ride there often.

First time experience for my wife and kids. Out of all of the things we have ever done and places we have been over the years this was one of the best most fun memorable experiences. Our lesson instructor Ro was amazing and went above and beyond!!! Everyone there was so welcoming, personable, informative and helpful.

This is a great place for my daughter to get out into nature and build bonds with the many animals. She’s learning so much about the horses and how to care for them. Absolutely one of the best choices we’ve made!

Our instructor was both knowledgeable and fun! My daughter has always been scared of farm animals due to their sheer size. Our instructor always had a smile and was quick to show/demonstrate how to interact with the animals with a smile and a joke. It really made my kid feel at ease. She also gave us the responsibility of untying and stowing all the tackle, which I think was a really nice touch. It gave us a little responsibility with the fun of a sunset ride, and it’s exactly how I would’ve given my daughter the lesson if it was my job. She really knocked it out of the park for us and I’m going to look forward to my next Lake Ontario vacation just to visit here again.

Autumn's Gate is a hidden gem. I am thrilled to have found a place so close to home. From the moment I got there everyone was so friendly and informative. Haley (the owner) got me signed up right away. She introduced me to Ro (Rechelle), and it was all over from there. She's friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable, and really got me excited to get started. My first ride was a learning experience. Ro was patient and was great to learn from. I can't recommend this beautiful place with amazing people enough. I'm excited for my next ride! My son attended camp at Autumn’s Gate this summer and it was a wonderful experience for him! He played and rode horses in a beautiful environment for weeks. The staff understood his unique needs and had great insight into making camp fun. After that, we decided to take lessons there which was also amazing in a different way! Ms Ro made the lesson fun and exciting and we can’t wait to do more! We purchased a lesson package and it was a great deal! Very happy we found Autumn’s Gate.

My granddaughter has become an amazing rider and is now going to be involved in barrel racing competition shout out to Ro and ALL the excellent professional teachers who take pride in teaching each and every client. She has grown not only in horse riding but in all the responsibilities that comes with it and the confidence she has obtained is priceless. My review is long overdue! My littles have been coming here for the last two years! They always look forward to their horseback riding adventure day! They have so much fun and it is awesome seeing them learn and do more and more with each time we come! Ms Ro is absolutely amazing we love love love her! I took my out of town nephew riding as a gift for his 10th birthday. He has never been riding before and really wanted to go. I thought I booked a trail rising session, but it turned out to be in a pen. That was ultimately better for us because neither had any experience and that gave the instructor, Ro, and her assistants a better opportunity to teach us about the horses and how to ride in a more controlled environment. They were extremely kind and patient and my nephew had the time of his life. He's been talking about it nonstop and already asked if we could do it again for his birthday next year. It was a wonderful experience. The only advice I'd give is to make sure you confirm if it's a trail ride or inside a pen.

Wonderful experience for all ages! Learning animal care and having the responsibility experience is key for kids in this time! The bonus is Ms. Roe, she is an excellent instructor for kids and adults alike. She has a passion for horses and teaching. She is the trainer for our daughter hands down! Hands down one of the greatest experiences of my life so far❤️❤️ I hadn’t rode a horse in 20 yrs & Ro guided me perfectly to get into the comfort zone of riding again. The horses are well kept & taken care of. Whether you have never ridden or maybe have a child with special needs this is definitely a place to experience . Ro was absolutely amazing. She provided us with tips throughout our ride which enhanced the experience. I will definitely come back the next time we visit Niagara. Miss Ro is fantastic! My sister receives lessons from her weekly. While visiting my sister last week, I had the pleasure of joining her for an adventurous trail ride led by Miss Ro. Kim and our family celebrated her 10th birthday on the farm. For many children ,it was a first time riding experience. The staff was amazing and interacted with the children well. They were also kind to our family members as they moved about the farm . My father who originally started the arrangements was even mentioned, though he recently passed away. We LOVED coming to Autumn’s Gate. At first we weren’t sure about the place, but by the start of the lesson with Ro, we were blown away. Her method of teaching is straight to the point and out of the box all at once. My daughter has had riding lessons, but none like the one with Rochelle. We will be coming back very soon. ❤️

My kids had an amazing day at Autumns Gate! This was their first time riding a horse and they were so proud of their accomplishment. They got to pet other animals, hold bunnies and guinea pigs, play games, have a bonfire, crafts and more. They came home completely filthy, happy and full of stories! It will definitely be an experience that stays with them for a long time! Haley was so helpful and kind! I would definitely send my kids back to Autumns Gate again!!

My husband surprised me with a horseback riding experience at Autumn’s Gate today; it was our first time there and we absolutely loved our adventure together. We had the privilege of Ro being our instructor and she was absolutely delightful, insightful, informative and just a true joy to be around. She most definitely knows her stuff, she rode Elsa (I may have spelled that wrong) and we got to see her skills in action as Elsa was quite stubborn hahahaha. If you’ve never gone before or never even rode a horse i encourage you to go and request Ro as your instructor. I most certainly will be back and can’t wait to do so. The owners and staff are great. My daughter is enjoying the chicken & pony clubs, and she can't wait for spring camp. Great place for the whole family. Go for a tour check out all the animals. They also do birthday parties .

We started taking lessons here a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier. Miss Ro is so welcoming and wonderful with the kids. My daughter has had 2 lessons with Ms. Roe. She has taught her so much in that short period of time. My daughter loves that she pushes her to get out of her comfort zone at the same time listens to her concerns and directs her on exactly how to do it. Ms. Roe always makes sure that my daughter is ok and ready to try stuff but if she doesn't want to Ms. Roe doesn't push to much.

We just started going to Autumn’s Gate because my daughter needed somewhere with an indoor arena for the winter. We love it there! Everyone is so friendly and easy going. She gets to ride multiple horses and is able to practice her barrel runs. Ms Ro is a great instructor and seems to love what she does! Highly recommend!!!!

Loved our experience. Went with my husband on our honey moon. Got to run and Trot. Very patient and helpful. We were already experienced to a degree so we got to go faster. We got to chit chat a lot with her and her daughter and it was a great experience. They have tons of horses all of which are kind and beautiful. They have the cutest mini donkey too
