This place was so fun. My husband and I used to ride over in Mendon but hadn't found a place here since we had moved. This is definitely our new place. Even though we have ridden quite often we took a friend who hadn't been in 20 years. They can accommodate people of all skill levels. The horses were great and the staff made it so fun. Ro was our trail guide and she was not only extremely knowledgeable but very sweet, she really made it a great experience. The fields are beautiful and it was such a relaxing ride. Can't wait to go back

We did a family group ride for my 3 and 5 year olds when we were up in the Niagara area and Ro and the whole team were fantastic! We had a wonderful time, they were incredibly easy to work with, and it was the highlight of our trip. And, as a huge bonus for me, Ro took photos and videos for us so I didn’t even need to try (which is a good thing since I’m not an experienced rider). It was perfect and I could not recommend it more highly! The farm was beautiful; the horses were all lovely and named after Disney characters which my girls loved. Without a doubt if we lived in the area we would go to camp there and ride there often.
Ms Ro Is the best…. My kiddos have learned so much from her. Their confidence has flown through the roof because of her and are so comfortable with her. Can’t say enough about Ro!!!
Had a great time. Ro and her helpers were super friendly and down to Earth. Before I knew it our time was up. We rode Elsa, Belle, and Apollo.
First time experience for my wife and kids. Out of all of the things we have ever done and places we have been over the years this was one of the best most fun memorable experiences. Our lesson instructor Ro was amazing and went above and beyond!!! Everyone there was so welcoming, personable, informative and helpful.We can’t wait to go back!

This is a great place for my daughter to get out into nature and build bonds with the many animals. She’s learning so much about the horses and how to care for them. Absolutely one of the best choices we’ve made!
Our instructor was both knowledgeable and fun! My daughter has always been scared of farm animals due to their sheer size. Our instructor always had a smile and was quick to show/demonstrate how to interact with the animals with a smile and a joke. It really made my kid feel at ease. She also gave us the responsibility of untying and stowing all the tackle, which I think was a really nice touch. It gave us a little responsibility with the fun of a sunset ride, and it’s exactly how I would’ve given my daughter the lesson if it was my job. She really knocked it out of the park for us and I’m going to look forward to my next Lake Ontario vacation just to visit here again.
Autumn's Gate is a hidden gem. I am thrilled to have found a place so close to home. From the moment I got there everyone was so friendly and informative. Haley (the owner) got me signed up right away. She introduced me to Ro (Rechelle), and it was all over from there. She's friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable, and really got me excited to get started. My first ride was a learning experience. Ro was patient and was great to learn from. I can't recommend this beautiful place with amazing people enough. I'm excited for my next ride! My son attended camp at Autumn’s Gate this summer and it was a wonderful experience for him! He played and rode horses in a beautiful environment for weeks. The staff understood his unique needs and had great insight into making camp fun. After that, we decided to take lessons there which was also amazing in a different way! Ms Ro made the lesson fun and exciting and we can’t wait to do more! We purchased a lesson package and it was a great deal! Very happy we found Autumn’s Gate.

My granddaughter has become an amazing rider and is now going to be involved in barrel racing competition shout out to Ro and ALL the excellent professional teachers who take pride in teaching each and every client. She has grown not only in horse riding but in all the responsibilities that comes with it and the confidence she has obtained is priceless. The staff is committed to all who come here and to all the animals. Can't thank them enough for my granddaughters growth!! Great experience for grandkids at Autumn’s Gate. Ms Ro is the bomb. She helped our grandson overcome his fear of riding and helped our granddaughter to really do well with only two lessons. Will be back
My review is long overdue! My littles have been coming here for the last two years! They always look forward to their horseback riding adventure day! They have so much fun and it is awesome seeing them learn and do more and more with each time we come! Ms Ro is absolutely amazing we love love love her! The kids ask and talk about her at home quite often. Ms Ro has instilled a ton of confidence in them and makes it a great experience overall!

I took my out of town nephew riding as a gift for his 10th birthday. He has never been riding before and really wanted to go. I thought I booked a trail rising session, but it turned out to be in a pen. That was ultimately better for us because neither had any experience and that gave the instructor, Ro, and her assistants a better opportunity to teach us about the horses and how to ride in a more controlled environment. They were extremely kind and patient and my nephew had the time of his life. He's been talking about it nonstop and already asked if we could do it again for his birthday next year. It was a wonderful experience. The only advice I'd give is to make sure you confirm if it's a trail ride or inside a pen.
Went for the first time, the kids had so much fun, and they got a lot of riding in, and we couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Ro was amazing and so nice!

Hands down one of the greatest experiences of my life so far❤️❤️ I hadn’t rode a horse in 20 yrs & Ro guided me perfectly to get into the comfort zone of riding again. The horses are well kept & taken care of. Whether you have never ridden or maybe have a child with special needs this is definitely a place to experience . As an adult just looking to get into riding for fun it was perfect! Trainer Ro was friendly, helpful, and patient. Great experience! Definitely going back and would recommend others as well.

Ro was absolutely amazing. She provided us with tips throughout our ride which enhanced the experience. I will definitely come back the next time we visit Niagara. If you are looking for a great horseback riding experience/lessons (also provided for handicapped children), Autumn's Gate is the place to go.
Miss Ro is fantastic! My sister receives lessons from her weekly. While visiting my sister last week, I had the pleasure of joining her for an adventurous trail ride led by Miss Ro. I, too, lesson weekly at a barn near my home. Miss Ro is knowledgeable, caring, and full of life! She is always having fun and ensuring her students are doing the same! I can’t wait for the next time I have the opportunity to ride with her! 🥰
Ro and Julia were absolutely excellent! Great for all levels. My 87 year old grandmother was able to ride with confidence thanks to how accommodating and trained the staff was. Would recommend to anyone of all levels!
Kim and our family celebrated her 10th birthday on the farm. For many children ,it was a first time riding experience. The staff was amazing and interacted with the children well. They were also kind to our family members as they moved about the farm . My father who originally started the arrangements was even mentioned, though he recently passed away. Thank you for making us feel at home.
We LOVED coming to Autumn’s Gate. At first we weren’t sure about the place, but by the start of the lesson with Ro, we were blown away. Her method of teaching is straight to the point and out of the box all at once. My daughter has had riding lessons, but none like the one with Rochelle. We will be coming back very soon. ❤️
Had an amazing day at Autumn gate today, took my daughter for the first time , and absolutely had a wonderful time! And the environment is such a good vibe! And good people!! My kids had an amazing day at Autumns Gate! This was their first time riding a horse and they were so proud of their accomplishment. They got to pet other animals, hold bunnies and guinea pigs, play games, have a bonfire, crafts and more. They came home completely filthy, happy and full of stories! It will definitely be an experience that stays with them for a long time! Haley was so helpful and kind! I would definitely send my kids back to Autumns Gate again!!
I went there for the first time a few weeks ago and worked with the instructor Roe. She was AMAZING. she was so knowledgeable about riding. She also makes you feel so comfortable. Had a great time and would highly recommended her to anyone !
My husband surprised me with a horseback riding experience at Autumn’s Gate today; it was our first time there and we absolutely loved our adventure together. We had the privilege of Ro being our instructor and she was absolutely delightful, insightful, informative and just a true joy to be around. She most definitely knows her stuff, she rode Elsa (I may have spelled that wrong) and we got to see her skills in action as Elsa was quite stubborn hahahaha. If you’ve never gone before or never even rode a horse i encourage you to go and request Ro as your instructor. I most certainly will be back and can’t wait to do so. The owners and staff are great. My daughter is enjoying the chicken & pony clubs, and she can't wait for spring camp. Great place for the whole family. Go for a tour check out all the animals. They also do birthday parties .

I went there for my buddies daughters birthday party, and it was an awesome experience. So many cool and unique animals. All the instructors were intelligent and kind. Would highly recommend this to anyone who asks.
Such an amazing place to take the family, everyone is extremely patient with your children. The horses are all well behaved and so kind to the kids. Really a beautiful and special place.
We started taking lessons here a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier. Miss Ro is so welcoming and wonderful with the kids. Having two kiddo's who are at very different levels of riding, Miss Ro does such a fantastic job letting our more confident rider spread her wings while offering her support and assurance to our more timid rider all at the same time. We HIGHLY recommend Miss Ro and Autumn's Gate! 💜
2nd time riding, 4pm class. Ro is an amazing instructor. Very patient. There were 4 people who were supposed to be there at 2 but showed up 2 hrs late. Ro added them to our class seemlessly and still made time for each rider.

My daughter has had 2 lessons with Ms. Roe. She has taught her so much in that short period of time. My daughter loves that she pushes her to get out of her comfort zone at the same time listens to her concerns and directs her on exactly how to do it. Ms. Roe always makes sure that my daughter is ok and ready to try stuff but if she doesn't want to Ms. Roe doesn't push to much.
Miss. Ro did a wonderful job! Very helpful, was a great teacher, and a pleasant person! The animals are all well taken care of!

We just started going to Autumn’s Gate because my daughter needed somewhere with an indoor arena for the winter. We love it there! Everyone is so friendly and easy going. She gets to ride multiple horses and is able to practice her barrel runs. Ms Ro is a great instructor and seems to love what she does! Highly recommend!!!!
My daughters' have been taking riding lessons weekly at Autumn's Gate since September. They love going each week. Through their lessons they have developed a love for the sport but also have built confidence in themselves. Miss Ro is an amazing instructor. We appreciate her time and dedication! Yesterday we had their birthday party there as well. It was a wonderful experience and they had a great time showing their friends their favorite place.
This is an amazing place! The riding lessons are extremely reasonable, the Halloween party is outta this world, and Jimmy, Hailey and the whole crew are wonderful. It's a magical experience for kids.
Loved our experience. Went with my husband on our honey moon. Got to run and Trot. Very patient and helpful. We were already experienced to a degree so we got to go faster. We got to chit chat a lot with her and her daughter and it was a great experience. They have tons of horses all of which are kind and beautiful. They have the cutest mini donkey too
