You’ll begin with a brief orientation and safety check, then enjoy a staff-supported trail ride paced entirely to your comfort level. Whether you’re brand new or experienced, we match you thoughtfully and let the experience unfold naturally.

And if riding doesn’t feel right in the moment? That’s completely okay. Sometimes the most meaningful part is simply being with the horses—grounded, quiet, and close. If riding isn’t the right fit at check-in, we’ll guide you into a horse experience that still feels special—sometimes even more so.

This experience is about slowing down, breathing deeply, and sharing time that actually matters.

What’s the Difference Between the Premium Trail Experience for Two and the Winter Sweetheart Trail Ride?

Both experiences are built around the same core idea: a calm, staff-supported horseback experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and enjoy time together. The difference is when they’re offered and how trail access is handled.

 

Premium Trail Experience for Two

• Available throughout the season whenever trail conditions allow

• Booked within scheduled Trail Windows, which open as conditions permit

• Ideal for gifts, anniversaries, special moments, or simply doing something meaningful together

• Flexible and not tied to a specific holiday or weekend

This is our standard premium trail offering, available beyond Valentine’s weekend.

Winter Sweetheart Trail Ride

• A limited Valentine Weekend edition of the Premium Trail Experience

• Offered only during Valentine’s weekend

• Capacity is very limited and released once per year

• Choose the Premium Trail Experience for Two if you want flexibility and a premium ride experience any time Trail Windows are open.

• Choose the Winter Sweetheart Trail Ride if you want a Valentine-specific experience with date-locked Trail Windows during that weekend.

About Trail Windows

Because winter trail riding requires extra care—for the horses, the trails, and your experience—we offer this ride during specific Trail Windows.

Trail Windows are scheduled time blocks when:

• Trails have been inspected and prepared

• Horses and staff are fully allocated for trail use

• We can confidently deliver a safe, enjoyable trail experience

 

When you book the Premium Trail Experience for Two, you’re booking within one of these Trail Windows, which means:

• Your ride is intentionally planned, not conditional

• Trail access is expected and prioritized, not “if conditions allow”

• Staffing and horse availability are already reserved for you

 

Outside of Trail Windows, trail riding may still be possible during standard sessions—but it can’t be guaranteed due to weather and footing.

Trail Windows are limited by design. Once they’re full, they’re full—so we can protect the quality of the experience for both riders and horses.

If extreme conditions ever prevent safe trail riding during your scheduled window, we’ll:

• Reschedule you to another Trail Window or

• Convert your experience to an equivalent on-farm or arena-based horse experience—still calm, meaningful, and often just as special

Good to Know

• Experience level: No prior riding required

• Privacy: You’re booked as two riders; your time block may include other guests

• Timing: Plan 60–90 minutes total

• What to wear: Layers recommended; sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots

• Weather: If conditions prevent safe trail riding, your booking will be rescheduled or converted to an equivalent on-farm/arena-based horse experience—still meaningful, still premium

• Eligibility: Rider suitability is determined at check-in for safety. Questions welcome—just text 716-791-5051

Policies

• Non-refundable (limited-capacity premium booking)

• Reschedule with 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability

• Safety always comes first; alternate experiences are offered when needed
