One trail ride during the week isn’t enough for some campers — and we get it. The Extra Trail Ride lets your horse-obsessed camper head out on a second guided trail ride during their session. Same certified trail guides, same beautiful wooded paths, same memories — just twice the magic.
Why We Do It
We work hard to make sure every camper gets on the trails at least once during their session — it is a signature Autumn’s Gate experience. Most of the week’s riding takes place in the outdoor arena, where campers build their skills in a more controlled environment. The trail is the adventure at the end of the week. For riders who want more of it, the Extra Trail Ride is the answer.
What Your Kid Gets
– A second 45-minute guided trail ride through Autumn’s Gate’s wooded trails
– Personalized horse matching by our equestrian staff based on the camper’s comfort level
– Helmet, boots, and all safety equipment provided
– A special “Double Rider” ribbon to wear on their camp lanyard for the rest of the week
How It Works
Select Extra Trail Ride during registration or add it from the Family Portal (subject to availability). Spots are limited — add it early. Your camper’s second ride will be scheduled by the equestrian team and appear on their daily schedule the evening before.
