\nFishing at Autumn’s Gate teaches stillness, focus, patience, and the magic of paying attention to nature. The Fishing Helper Certification was designed so that campers who love it can go further \u2014 and eventually give back by helping others learn.<\/p>\n
– Instruction in rod setup, casting, baiting, and responsible catch-and-release
\n– Pond ecology deep dive \u2014 what lives in there and why it matters
\n– Supervised junior guide time helping younger campers with their first cast
\n– An official Fishing Helper Certificate and a custom enamel fishing lure pin
\n– Recognition at Friday closing circle<\/p>\n
Open to campers ages 8 and up \u2014 no prior fishing experience required. Two 1-hour dock sessions during normal activity blocks. Skills check: casting accuracy + correct knot tying.
