The Archery Program gives campers a full introduction to the sport across 3\u20134 sessions: one dedicated training activity covering form, safety, and stance, followed by 2\u20133 live sessions at the shooting range throughout the week. Every shot builds focus, patience, and a skill that lasts a lifetime.<\/p>\n
All campers that wish, will be able to participate in Archery, Archery+ is for campers that love being on the range! <\/p>\n
Archery is a sport for every kind of kid \u2014 it rewards calm, concentration, and practice over size or speed. We want to bring archery to camp in a big way, and enrollments this season help us measure demand and fund the bows, targets, safety equipment, and certified instructor training needed to build it into a permanent cornerstone program. Your registration this season is a vote for archery at Autumn’s Gate.<\/p>\n
– One dedicated training session: archery safety rules, proper stance, draw technique, and aiming fundamentals \u2014 led by a certified instructor
\n– 2\u20133 live range sessions throughout the session, with progressive targets as skills improve
\n– All equipment provided: youth and adult recurve bows, arrows, arm guards, and finger tabs
\n– A personalized target score card to track improvement across sessions
\n– Range certification card upon program completion<\/p>\n
The training session runs on the first full camp day of the session. Range sessions are spread across the week during scheduled activity blocks.
