This October, our Sunday Toddler & Me sessions become three completely different Halloween adventures. Expect horses, ponies, games, imagination and plenty of fall fun — created for young children, not to scare them.

Most traditional riding programs begin when children are older. Autumn's Gate begins formal riding instruction for riders as young as four years old — but we kept meeting younger children who desperately wanted to be part of everything happening at the barn.
That's why we created Toddler & Me.
With a parent helping guide them alongside the horse while they ride, plus additional horsemanship and farm activities, we introduce young children to horses in an environment designed specifically for their age and attention span.

Toddler & Me is designed to keep young children fully engaged through a changing mix of riding, horsemanship, animals and hands-on activities.
Little riders begin learning how it feels to sit, balance and move with a horse while a grown-up assists nearby.
Get up close with our horses, learn how we care for them and begin building comfort around large animals.
Sessions can include farm animals, games, crafts, challenges and other hands-on experiences around the farm.
Toddler & Me is something children and their grown-ups experience together — not an activity parents simply watch.
Riding and horse interaction remain at the center of Toddler & Me, but that's only half the fun.
Activities can be different from week to week and follow seasonal or monthly themes throughout the year. That means returning children can continue discovering something new as they become more comfortable around the barn.
We designed Toddler & Me to feel like an adventure rather than asking very young children to participate in a conventional riding lesson. Children learn, move, interact and explore throughout the session.
Toddler & Me is designed to work as an ongoing activity, but families don't need to commit to every session. Come regularly, visit once or twice, or choose a special themed session that sounds perfect for your child.
